Dr. Wood is an American Board of Pediatrics-certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.She completed her BA at the University of Colorado-Boulder with a degree in physiology. She went on to earn her medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Chicago.

After completing residency, she worked at a Chicago suburban pediatric practice and enjoyed teaching medical students from Northwestern University.

She firmly believes in providing compassionate and equitable care to every patient, regardless of race, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background.

When asked what Dr. Wood enjoys the most about her job as pediatrician, she said “The best part of my job is building relationships with families over time. It is an honor to be a part of a child's life as they grow and overcome life's many challenges!”

Dr. Wood has a special clinical interest in ADHD, anxiety, and functional gastrointestinal disorders. 

Now back in Colorado, Dr. Wood is thrilled to be practicing in the state she calls home with her family, community, and the mountains. She has been an avid snowboarder since the age of 10 and appreciates every opportunity to stay active! 

When she’s not at the office, you’ll likely find Dr. Wood snowboarding, skiing, hiking, biking, or enjoying a good meal with her family and friends—her biggest sources of joy.
